The sauna has been enjoyed in its many forms for thousands of years and while technology has advanced and changed over time, its uses, such as relaxation and health aid had not. The results of new research and new studies continue to show the benefits of detoxification and the capacity of the sauna helps weight loss, help blood circulation and generally improve the appearance of body muscles and skin. One of the latest developments and more beneficial is the use of infrared sauna, replacing the more traditional style of convection saunas.
Sauna Heating Methods
The main difference between traditional and infrared saunas is the way that provides heat to the body. While a sauna or steam heated convection environment in the sauna room, infrared sauna is focused exclusively on the body heat. This offers several advantages. Less heat is needed to stimulate the body with an infrared sauna and in turn, this also means less electricity is used during the heating process.
